Consider Becoming a Volunteer
Become part of the best “Love Story” in Douglas and Elbert counties and join over 250 volunteers who helped over 16,670 of our neighbors in 2016 through the services offered at the Douglas/Elbert Task Force!
- In 2016, Task Force Volunteers provided 47,986 hours of service, the equivalent of 23 full-time staff.
- In 2016, 6% of our expenses went to general and administrative costs in large part due to the gift of time given by our wonderful volunteers!
We would love you to join us…
Ever thought of joining a team of fun loving, generous and downright good people?
Come join our team of volunteers and feel what the “joy of giving” is all about. All we ask is that you consider a 6 month commitment with a minimum of 10 hours a month. We have found through experience, that this is the best way to help you feel fulfilled while volunteering at the Task Force.
