2013 SASSY SOIREE FASHION SHOW FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Castle Rock, CO – The models are ready to strut their stuff for the 10th year at the Douglas County Events Center. The date is Friday, September 13 and if you haven’t attended the Sassy Soiree in the past you’ve missed one of Douglas County’s premier fundraising events. This mid-day luncheon and fashion brings the community together to support the long-standing efforts of the Douglas/Elbert Task Force, which incidentally will celebrate its 30th year in 2014.
Everything about the day is a highlight. Doors open at 10 o’clock for those who can come early to purchase items from the clothing, accessory and jewelry boutiques. Clothing comes from selected donations to Treasures, thrift store in Castle Rock. Items are often designer wear, some with price tags still on them. Where else would you be able to get an ankle length mink fur coat for $150, just in time for the holidays? Return guests make a bee line for the jewelry. Gift certificates and wines are plentiful in the silent auction where over 150 items and baskets are offered at “take me away” prices.
A light lunch is served at 11:30 then it’s on with the fashion show and door prizes. Groups are encouraged to purchase a reserved table to guarantee that everyone sits together. For tickets or more information please call Kathy at 303-688-1114
